FRAME

The bicycle was purchased without wheels, bottom bracket, crank, pedals, chain and rear derailleur.  Remaining parts and head tube races were then removed from the frame.
The frame was then cleaned.  Large and obvious paint chips were touch-ed up with red nail polish.

The head tube races were cleaned.  Since their chrome was pitted, the visible portions were painted.
The head tube races were then pressed into the frame's head tube.
The frame is now ready for its forks.
